Hi I'm Louise, the main model.

I started Life Drawing Bangor with the goal of offering a life drawing opportunity in easy reach of the Ards peninsula, for anyone who wants to improve their art skills.
I've been modelling for around 10 years, and in this time have met people from every walk of life who find themselves engaging with the drawing experience for a whole variety of reasons, some of them emotional and therapeutic, as well as to hone their drawing skill.
I believe in creating a very relaxed and cheery environment, so people are not intimidated by the drawing experience, and can develop conversations with others attending, learn new techniques, and gain very useful practice. I know from my own experience that life drawing assists an artist in every area of their art practice. So I really believe this is worth sharing and encouraging people to come and join in!
